Message Ever notice when you open the gas cap that there is a lot of 'gaseous' pressure that is relieved? EVEN if you use a conzult to disable the pump AND try to run it until it doesn't start, it STILL doesn't relieve ALL of the pressure in the fuel system. In fact, even if you do relive the pressure, as soon as you open the fuel lines, if the engine is even an tad-bit warm, the fuel will 'boil' when you relive the pressure and it will spew forth. Pinching the lines is the ONLY sure-fire way of ensuring you dont get a Sonny's BBQ in your driveway. Think, "hemostat" for open heart surgery - yeah - NOW youre on the right page.. =)
